MARLE PLACE TO HOST 2007 SCULPTURE SHOW
The Sculpture Show comes back to Marle Place for the fourth consecutive year in September
2007 from Sunday 9 September to Sunday 23 September. The show offers the chance to see and buy over 60 pieces of wonderful outdoor sculpture whilst wandering informally and enjoying the picturesque surroundings of Marle Place Gardens in Brenchley, Nr. Tonbridge.
The sculptures themselves are the work of more than a dozen specially selected sculptors including some from Kent and Sussex who have created over 80 very different and original pieces of art. The pieces are either unique, limited edition or individually handcrafted and range in style from the abstract to the figurative and traditional.
There is something for everyone's taste. Whether you are looking to add warmth or interest to your garden or are trying to create contrast or a focal point. The Sculpture Show is a chance to discover your perfect garden feature.
The Sculpture Show is set within the privately owned gardens of Marle Place - a beautiful and peaceful Wealden garden. The garden is a treat in itself; 10 acres of carefully designed planting that combines hedged rooms with tree lined avenues, woodland walks and a meandering stream.
Marle Place can be found by following the 'brown signs' from Brenchley which is signposted from the A21 or from Lamberhurst take the B2162 and pick up the 'brown sign' that lead to Marle Place Road.
