SPECIAL OPEN DAYS
Although we officially close on the 2nd October 2012, we are always happy to
see visitors by appointment especially during autumn if we are expecting
an exceptional month of colour.
To be Confirmed - Saturday 2pm to 3.30pm
Conkering Heros
Supporting RNLI - Open for children of every age, all proceeds to the charity. Light refreshments available.

In 2010 an enthusiastic gang gathered beneath an ancient chestnut tree at Marle Place, to collect ammunition and compete in the age-old game of conkers. They raised nearly £200.00 for the RNLI.
The winner was Archie Tweddle Williams. Lucy Williams who organised the event said 'the players had such fun we intend to make this fund raiser an annual event.' The date we have chosen for this year's event is to be confirmed, 2pm to 3.30pm.
There will be several more exhibitions throughout the
season, details yet to be fixed.
Entrance to all exhibitions is free but entrance to the gardens will be charged
as usual.
